Marjie Funk Obituary

Marjie Eurma (Shaffer) Funk, 75, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025. She
was born on December 11, 1949, in Terre Haute, to Chauncey and Geraldine Shaffer. Marjie liked to
collect bears and minions, and liked to go to church. She loved her family and friends. Marjie is survived
by her 3 daughters: Melissa Bennet, Tina Wilson, and Heather Stevens. She is also survived by a son-in-
law, Joey Stevens Jr., siblings, 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Marjie was preceded in
death by her parents; husband, Edward Funk; 2 grandsons; and sisters and brothers. A celebration of life will be on March 12, 2025, at 4:00p.m. Visitation will be from 2:00p.m. until service time.
