Myra Eleanor Childers

Myra Eleanor Childers, 84, of Bloomington, Indiana departed life August 22, 2021 in her home. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 1, 1937 to Lee and Mary (Croy) Shephard.  She was married to Bob Childers, of that union, was born two sons, Robert and Stephen Childers. Myra was active in the Salvation Army, a life time member of the Moose Lodge, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, as well as the American Legion. Myra had a love for all animals, great and small. Myra leaves to cherish her memory one son Robert Childers, one granddaughter Katie Childers Mason, grandson Evan, two great granddaughters Caroline and Abby Grace Mason.  Myra was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Childers, and one son Stephen Childers. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10:30 AM at the Salvation Army, 111 North Rogers St, Bloomington, Indiana, 47404.
