Nathan William Hancock tragically passed away on May 20, 2020 in a car accident. He was born June 29, 1973 in Terre Haute, Indiana. He never lacked appreciation of Earth’s beauty and spent a great deal of his time outdoors collecting fossils, artifacts, and rocks (lots of them) with his friends. He was self-employed with many talents and was always busy. He was fiercely loyal to his many friends and loved his dog, Mabel.
He is survived by his parents Susan Kelley Hawk and Donnie Hancock (Cindy); his grandmother Wilma Kelley; brothers Eric (Sarah) and Jason Hancock; niece and nephews Julia, Bradley, and Thomas Hancock; numerous friends including lifelong friends Steve Eaton and Aaron Maynard; and his companion, Courtney Day.
Due to circumstances with COVID-19, a private gathering to celebrate his life will be planned for a later date.
