Olivia M. Mosley, beloved daughter, mother, sister and friend, passed away at the age of 79, after a long illness. Olivia was born in Detroit, Michigan, to Matilda and Napoleon Davis on June 23, 1946. Olivia was the oldest of their four children. Olivia grew up in Detroit and graduated from Pershing High School in 1964. She married Bennie Mosley in 1965 and their marriage was blessed with the birth of their only child, their daughter Monique. Olivia was known for her fun loving personality and willingness to help others. She had a great passion for traveling, gardening and she especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a hard worker and enjoyed a long career as a medical secretary working at Union Hospital and eventually retiring from Indiana MRI. She leaves to mourn her passing, her daughter Monique Mosley; sisters Kora Robinson (Eddie), Rochelle Reed (Donald); nephews Melvin Watkins, Sawnawai Reed (Christina), and Lateef Reed (Charlene); and a host of grand nieces, nephews, friends, as well as her oldest and dearest friend and sister in law, Pavlova Mosley. Olivia was preceded in death by her parents and her dear brother Lawrence Timothy Davis. While family and friends mourn the loss of Olivia, we take great comfort in the fact that Olivia is at complete peace and is in the fullness of joy with Christ now.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2025, at 12:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral on Friday, from 10:00a.m. until service time.
