Patricia A Wassill

Patricia A. Wassill, 87, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on September 6, 2025.  She was born September 17, 1937. in Clinton, Indiana, to Evan Richardson and Margaret (Colderbank)Richardson McCoskey. Patricia was a member of Sacred Heart Church of Jesus.  She was a longtime volunteer for St. Patrick’s Soup Kitchen in Terre Haute.  Her teaching career began at St. Ben’s School in Terre Haute, Indiana. She also taught in Connersville, Indiana in her early years. Patty was an amazing elementary school teacher, who taught for over 36 years and retired from Paris Memorial School Unit #95. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and sister Marilyn Karanovich.  She is survived by her son John Wassill and his wife Julie.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 11:00a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus, 2322 N 13 ½ Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47804.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.  Visitation will be at the church on Friday, from 9:00a.m. until time of the service.
