February 13, 1962 – September 8, 2024

Trish passed away peacefully at home Sunday, September 8, surrounded by her family. Trish fought a long hard battle with breast cancer for over four years. She was brought into this world to Donald E. Wilson and Nancy J. (Forsythe) Wilson. She was preceded in death by brother, Wade, and her father. Survivors include her mom, Nancy; brothers, Steven and William; nephews, Isac and Peter Wilson; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Trish graduated from West Vigo High School in 1980.  She still kept in touch with many of her classmates.  She was a beloved and dedicated employee of Walgreens and worked at the north store in Terre Haute. Trish’s entire life was built around helping and giving to others.  She was there for everyone in her family when needed.  A true “giver” in life, she was constantly doing for her family, friends, and neighbors. She asked for nothing in return. She lived a modest life but was so rich with love, compassion, and sharing. Her devotion and love for her family was front and center for her two nephews, Isac and Peter. She put everything aside to be with them. Her love of nature and animals was very important to her.  She has always had a dog her entire life. Her rescue dog, Mo, is a loving part of family.  She looked forward to Spring every year to plant flowers and tend to her yard.  She especially loved her wild violets.   She was a steward in protecting the environment and would ask others to do the same. There are numerous people and organizations to thank, who prayed and emotionally supported Trish. It’s almost impossible to list.  The family would like to express their appreciation to Wabash Valley Hospice, Dr. Kunapareddy and the nurses and medical assistants, and the employees at Walgreens. A special thank you to her former Viking classmates, with deepest appreciation to Penny Aff and her family. As per Trish’s request, no former funeral.  She did suggest an open house celebrating her life at the New Goshen Lions Club, more affectionately known as the “New Goshen Firehouse,” which will be at a later date.
