Paul Stewart

Paul Stewart, 81, of Farmersburg, Indiana, passed away April 8, 2021.  He was born in Farmersburg, on September 4, 1939, to Jesse Stewart and Anice (Walton) Stewart.  Paul retired from the United States Navy, after many years of service.  He also worked at the Co-Op as a truck driver.  Paul held membership with the Shelburn American Legion Post 197.  He was an avid gardener.  Paul is survived by his children Lisa Rouzee (Stephen), Tanya Pietenpol (Jimmy), Mary Elizabeth Jerrell (Aaron), and Shane Stewart (Stacy); grandchildren Grace, Nick, Danielle, Tyler, Tara, Amber, Ashley, Michael, Travis, Trevor, and Trenton; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and good friends Karen Shotts and Becky Payne.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Shawna Russell, and all of his siblings.  Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 13, 2021, in the Chapel at Farmersburg Westlawn Cemetery, at 2:00p.m.  Visitation will be from 1:00p.m. until service time.  Burial will immediately follow services.  The family has entrusted care and arrangements to Greiner Funeral Home.
