Phyllis Grove, 81, of Sullivan, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side, on Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021. She was born on March 19, 1940, in Binger, Oklahoma, to Henry and Ermil Sipe.
Phyllis worked at Pima County Courthouse in Tucson, Arizona for many years. After moving to Indiana, she worked at CFS until her retirement to the family farm.
Survivors include her husband, Duard Grove whom she married on August 24th, 1957 ; one son, Glen Grove; two daughters, Donna (Randy) Schofield and Tina (Jon) Burnett; nine grandchildren, Brandi (Tyler) Smith, Dustin (Shannon) Grove, Megan Burnett, Jennifer (Paul) Simmons, Lacey Grove, Randy (Brittany) Schofield, Cody (Shayne) Burnett, Kandi (Jessie) Kaufman and Lisa (Larry) Tindall; 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild due later this month. Also surviving are two sisters, Delois Brown and Shirley (Steve) Regesch; one brother, Arlie Sipe; several sister and brother-in-laws; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Hubert Sipe; one great-great grandchild, Auburn Webb; two brother-in-laws, Buddy Brown and Ronnie Clark and two sister-in-laws, Betty Sipe and Ionia Sipe.
Private graveside services are being planned.
