Ramona Long, 73, of Terre Haute, passed away June 29, 2021 in her residence. Ramona was born on January 23, 1948 in Terre Haute to Luther Bryan and Alpha Sheese Bryan. She was a lifelong member of Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church where she began attending at the age of 8. She was a pillar of the church, serving as Volunteer Coordinator, teaching Sunday School as well as directing and singing in the choir. She was a graduate of Indiana Business College. She was a former member of The Terre Haute Symphony and enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was a devoted wife and loving mother and caregiver to her son Adam. She will be remembered as a very friendly, loving and outgoing person. She was retired from Ruben H. Donnelly and had formerly worked at Western and Southern Insurance, Vigo County School Corporation and Regional Hospital for ten years. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers; Denny Bryan and Ed Bryan. She is survived by her husband Jerry Long whom she married March 17, 1979. She is survived by her son Adam Long of Terre Haute, one sister, Rebecca Buxton of Greensboro, NC. one brother Art Bryan (Barb) of Greenwood, IN., as well as several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services are Saturday June 10, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. Noon at Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church, 3201 McKeen Street, Terre Haute, IN 47803. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Pastor Andy Fishback will be officiating.
