Richard D. Johnson, 65, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on August 27, 2025. He was born on February 7, 1960, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Richard Garrett and Mary Johnson. Richard is survived by his children Richard Garrett II (Amber) and Qwneta Watkins; grandchildren Amaru Garrett, Adonte Garrett, Briana Garrett, Deshawn Barker, Janelle Barker, Kyleigh Ann Crouse, Taylor Crouse, Davonte and Quinn Eldridge; siblings Michael Garrett, Hiawatha Garrett, and Betty Cooper. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers Donny Garrett and Harold Garrett “Chick”. In honoring his wishes, cremation has been chosen.
