Richard Pruitt Obituary

Richard L. Pruitt, 71, of Terre Haute passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. He was born on June 20, 1950, to Martin and Shirley Joan (Steele) Pruitt. He married Margy Sparks on April 4, 1992.

Richard is survived by his son Damon Pruitt of Terre Haute; sister Sue Foy of Crawfordsville; Robert Pruitt of Riley, and his furry companion, Aggie. He was proceeded in death by his wife Margy and his parents.

Richard was a 1968 graduate of New Market Highschool and attended Indiana State University. Richard was a member of the Berean Baptist Church. Richard joined the Freemasons’ Humbolt Masonic Lodge #42 in 1975 and was a member for over 42 years. Richard will be remembered for his generosity, his unforgettable jovial laugh, and his avid love for model trains.

There will be a celebration of life for Richard on November 27, 2021 at 12:00pm a Berean Baptist Church, 6770 N Clinton Street, Terre Haute, Indiana. With Pastor Larry Lilly officiating.
