Robert Lee Lewis

Robert Lee Lewis, 66, of Terre Haute, passed away at Union Hospital, Saturday, March 14, 2020.  He was born on February 5, 1954 to Joseph C. Lewis Sr. and Letha M. (Santor) Lewis.  Robert is survived by his brother from Terre Haute, Joseph C. Lewis Jr, wife Cherie; daughters Monica Lewis of Terre Haute, Millie East (Jeremy), Samantha Grycza all of Terre Haute; granddaughter Abby, and grandson Dale of Terre Haute; fiancé Patricia Lankford of Terre Haute; cousin Thornton Myles of Alexandria, VA; and several nieces and nephews.  Robert was proceeded in death by his parents; brother Larry J. Lewis Sr. of LaPorte, TX and brother Donald E. Lewis of Terre Haute, and wife of 32 years Mickey Lewis.  Robert worked at the Tribune Star for over 40 years before retiring, he also worked part time at the Vigo County Credit Union for many years.  Robert enjoyed going to yard sales and going to flea markets and watching sports on TV mainly Cincinnati Reds and Bengals were his favorite teams.  He liked going to ISU football and basketball games and was a big WWE wrestling fan.  He also enjoyed collecting a little bit of everything over the years.  Graveside service are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Roselawn Memorial Park.  Pastor Dennis Tyson will officiate.  The family has entrusted Greiner Funeral Home with care and arrangements.
