Ronald Gene Cummins

Ronald G. Cummins, 58, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on July 3, 2025.  He was born on September 11, 1966, to Joseph Cummins and Beverly (Whitford) Cummins.  Ron spent many years of his life as a butcher from Red and White in Marshall, Illinois to various Kroger locations in Terre Haute.  Ron had such a huge smile that lit up the room, his laugh was contagious.  Ron loved to be outdoors whether it be walking the woods for mushrooms, to hunting, or fishing.  Sitting by the fire on a nice cool evening was where he liked to be.  He never liked to be indoors, something always had him going, and his hands always working on a project, or fixing up something with wheels.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Ron is survived by his children Tyler Cummins (Jackie Jacso), Allesa Cummins, Gage Cummins (Anna); grandchildren Abel Cummins, Ember Cummins, Gage Cummins Jr., Jacob Cummins, and Nancy Cummins; his parents Joseph Cummins and Beverly Cummins; and siblings Bobby Cummins, Kenny Cummins, Raymond Cummins, Lora Brown, and Lisa Cummins.  He was preceded in death by his siblings Jimmy Cummins, Donald Cummins, Brenda Cummins, Joseph Cummins, and Beverly Cummins. In honoring his wishes, cremation has been chosen, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
