Ronald A Mahurin

Ronald A. Mahurin, 87, of Terre Haute and Vincennes, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.

He was born on July 10, 1938 in Indianapolis to James Albert Anderson Mahurin and Virginia Rose Conour.

Surviving are his three children, Doug (Diana) Mahurin, David (Patricia) Mahurin, and Laura Mahutchin; nine grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. Ron was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Margaret Ketchem Mahurin.

Ron was an Army veteran and worked as a bricklayer with Locals 5 and 4. He attended church in Terre Haute at World Gospel and Grace Community Churches and had been an active member of the El Shaddai Emmaus Community.

Ron had a great love for fishing, golf, and was an avid fan of basketball, following his sons and grandchildren along with local, collegiate, and professional teams.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ron’s honor to your local Humane Society to celebrate all of his favorite felines. In keeping with Ron’s wishes a Celebration of Life will be private, with interment next to his wife in Summit Lawn Cemetery.
