Ruth Marie Macaslin

 Ruth Marie Macaslin, 67, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on July 12, 2025.  She was born on January 20, 1958, in California, to Theron Thompson and Margaret Curtis.  Ruth enjoyed crocheting, and also enjoyed all music, especially Bob Dylan. She held many different jobs, at different points in her life, including being a 21 dealer, blue print printing, being a clown at children's parties, banking, and working at a Long Horn Race Track in Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents.  Ruth is survived by her children Marie Duffy, Shawna Knight, Slena Parker, and Timothy Macaslin; grandchildren Shelby, Shawn, Michel, Ruthie Mae, Evan, and Aiden; great grandchildren Maggie, Daniel, and Noah; siblings Matthew, Scott, Phil, Tom, and Catherine; special niece Rebecca; and close sister friend Jodi.  A celebration of life will be on August 9, 2025, at 11:00a.m. at the Riggs Property, 963 Leslie Place, West Terre Haute, Indiana, 47885.
