Sally Ann Sparks, born July 20, 1957, in Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. Sally lived a life marked by devotion to family, hard work, and an infectious sense of humor that brightened the lives of all who knew her.
A proud graduate of Minford High School’s Class of 1975, Sally began her career as a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist at Terre Haute Regional Hospital, followed by many fulfilling years at Clabber Girl, where she formed lasting friendships and shared countless laughs.
Sally was a fiercely loyal and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her son, Ryan Burke (Michelle); her grandchildren, Lane Burke (Cierra), McKenzie Burke, Damien Burke, and Rylan Burke; and her great-grandson, Lincoln Burke. She also leaves behind her beloved sister, Deborah Berry.
She is preceded in death by her son, Marty Burke, whose memory she carried with her every day, and her parents, Herschel and Cleta Sparks.
Sally will forever be remembered for her quick wit, sharp sense of humor, and the deep love she held for her family. Her laughter, resilience, and boundless generosity left an indelible mark on those who were lucky enough to know her.
Sally never liked being the center of attention and per her wishes there will be no services.
Her legacy of love and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Sally will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
