Sandra S Cummins

Sandra Sue Cummins, 77, of Terre Haute, passed away on October 6, 2021, in Union Hospital. Sandy was born on March 6, 1944, to Forrest Robling and Annetta Trueblood Robling. She is survived by John, her husband of 51 years, her grandson, John Scott Cummins; Stepson, John Joseph Cummins; special cousin, Peggy Grubb and husband Russell; sister-in-law, Donna Kerns; nephew, John M. Robling; nieces, Jane Ann McCain and husband Shell; and Julie Ann Potee and husband Jerrod. She was preceded in death  by her parents; her son, John Eric Cummins; her older brother, John Robling; sister-in-law, Eleanor Robling, grandmother, Essie Trueblood; aunt, Thelma Johnson; Grandfather Virgil Robling; and grandmother, Grace Robling. Sandy grew up in Terre Haute, graduated from Indiana State University where she earned a Master’s degree in early childhood education. She began her teaching career at Van Duyn Elementary School in Clinton, Indiana where she taught Kindergarten. Burial will take place in New Harmony Cemetery. Services are private.
