Sandra "Sandy" Sue McMillin

Sandra “Sandy” Sue McMillin, 80, of Brazil, Indiana was born May 8, 1945, in Terre Haute, Indiana. She passed away August 1, 2025 in her home after a long hard battle with cancer. She will be deeply missed and survived by her loving husband of 63 years Kenneth Eugene McMillin. They had two children, Kenneth Tod (Angie) McMillin and Lori (Britt) Petty, and 5 grandchildren Tara (Jesse) Merriman, Nathan (Heather) McMillin, Ellese Petty, Jessie (Matt) Ingram, and Cade Petty, along with four great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, two sisters Linda (Roy) Jones, Nancy (Steve) Triplet and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents Tod Arthur Jorritsma and Barbara Ann Jones Jorritsma, and in-laws Kenneth and Hazel McMillin. Sandy was very loving and passionate mother, wife, sister, and friend. Sandy spent most of her life involved in showing horses and cheering on her grandchildren and all their endeavors. She and Kenny deeply loved showing horses and their horse show community. They were always sharing their knowledge and love of horses with young Cowboys and Cowgirls. Her most significant memories were winning the NBHA 2D Indiana championship in 1999 and she and her family being inducted into the National Pole. Bending Hall of Fame in 2015. Her most beloved horse was Jay Rocket a.k.a. Bud. Visitation will be in Greiner Funeral Home, on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with visitation time prior beginning at 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
