TERRE HAUTE - Sarah M. Fisher, Shaw, Thomas, 92 died peacefully on May 5, 2022.
Sarah was born August 30th, 1929, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois to Noble V. Fisher and Martha S. (Bilderback) Fisher. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church Clinton, and attended New Bethel Missionary Baptist in Terre Haute.
Sarah retired from CBS Tape Factory, being one of the first thirty girls hired for the tape factory. Prior to CBS she worked for Bemis Bag.
She is survived by sons Robert “Bobby” Shaw II, Thomas “Tommy” Shaw, and Noble “Eddie” Shaw (Jada) daughters Elizabeth “Liz” England, Lisa Searing, step daughters Anna Pine (Dale), Deborah “Debbie” Thomas, eighteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Howard E. Thomas and son Howard Lee Thomas, her children’s father Robert W. Shaw, parents, two brothers, five sisters, and three son in laws David Plunkett, Rick Searing, and Donald “Don” England, along with many nieces and nephews.
Sarah loved her Lord and Savior Jesus, all these people and many more. They all had a special place in her life and heart.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at 1:00p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park in the Chapel of Memories. Burial will follow services.
