Sarah "Christi" Christina Peoples

Sarah Christina Peoples “Christi”, 50, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away November 10, 2021.  She was born May 28, 1971, to Barbara K. Smith.  Christi worked as a Surgery Tech for 19 years at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.  She was a Volunteer Firefighter with Honey Creek Fire Department for many years.  She loved life to the fullest.  She enjoyed going to concerts.  She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.  Christi loved being a “Gram” to her granddaughter.  She is survived by her husband of 9 years, Donald Ray Peoples; her mother Barbara K.Smith and Diana K Chrisman; daughter Brooklyn Lucas; granddaughter Serena; siblings Amanda, Robbie, Kevin, Melissa and Lori; aunts Linda and Marilyn; cousins Alicia and Tiffany;  and many nieces, nephews and extended family.  She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Roseda Cooper and Uncle Rodney.  Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at 1:00p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home. Pastor Billy Joe Henry will officiate.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.  Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the funeral home from 4:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. and also on Wednesday from 12:00p.m. until service time 1:00pm.
