Scott William Maxwell

Scott William Maxwell, 57, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away March 14, 2025.  He was born on June 8, 1967, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to William James Maxwell Jr, and Carolyn (Laughrey) Maxwell.  Scott was a member of Masonic Lodge of Pimento and Terre Haute FOP.  He worked for the Terre Haute Police Department, Vigo County Sherriff Department, and the Indiana State University Police.  For the past 20 years, he drove a truck over the road.  Scott is survived by his father William James Maxwell Jr.; daughter Brittney Taylor-Maxwell; grandchildren Avianna, Logan Jr., and Jameson; also other extended family members.  He was preceded in death by his mother.  Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 12:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home.  Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00a.m. until service time.  Cremation will take place after services.
