Skylar Lee Ashley

Skylar Lee Ashley, 2, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on August 14, 2025.  He was born on August 8, 2023, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Aaron and Lesly (Boatman) Ashley.  Skylar was a very smart, brave, and adventurous boy.  He loved reading books with his mom and dad.  Skylar loved to dance and play.  His favorite show was Barney.  It helped him use his imagination, and also helped him love his family.  Skylar is loved beyond belief by his family and will be missed.  He is survived by his parents Aaron and Lesly Ashley; siblings Destinnie Ashley, Elijah Ashley, and Greyson Ashley; grandparents Linda Kennedy and Jeffrey and Jeanette Ashley; great grandmother Brenda Philpott; aunts Allison Balanzar (Eric) and Amber Ashley; uncle Michael Kennedy.  Skylar was preceded in death by his great grandparents Richard Philpott, James Ashley, Barbara Steffes, and great uncle James D. Ashley.  Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 22, 2025, at 1:00p.m. at Cross Tabernacle Church, 2929 North 7th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47804.  Visitation will be at the church on Friday, from 11:00a.m. until service time.
