Teddy (Ted) Edward Moore

Teddy “Ted” Edward Moore, passed away Friday Afternoon July 26, 2019 in his home surrounded by his loved ones. Ted was born December 26, 1931 in Benton Illinois to Herman T. Moore and Hattie M. Marvel Moore. He attended Southern Illinois University but was the drafted by the Army and served in both Japan and Korea. Upon returning from the Korean War, he started his own cement finishing business (Ted Moore Concrete), you can see his hand crafted work throughout Terre Haute and the surrounding areas. He always had faithful employees who became good friends throughout his life. Ted and Pat together enjoyed numerous vacations throughout the US, Caribbean Islands and many other countries. He always loved an adventure. He is survived by his companion in life for over forty years, Pat Wells, his daughter Leslie Kunz and Husband Scott and their children Spencer and Jaxson. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Virgil Cowger and his sister Betty Jane Perkins. Per his wishes there will no services. The family would like to thank Susie for all her help allowing Ted to return to Florida for one last winter. We would also like to thank the staff at Southern Care Hospice.
