Terry Wright Obituary

Terry Lee Wright, 64, passed away January 8, 2022 in the Washington Nursing Center. Terry was born September 5, 1957 in Terre Haute, to Leroy and Inez Wright. He graduated from Terre Haute North High School. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Terry was a kind and gentle man. He blessed everyone he met with his smile, genuine love, his singing and a sweet kind heart. He loved all music but especially Elvis Presley. Music was a gift to Terry and a blessing for those who heard him sing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers in law; Butch Tabbert and Richard Pruitt, and a niece. He is survived by his sisters; Rebecca Tabbet, Patricia Pruitt, and Cindy Chatman (Phil), a brother, Deldon Wright (Maria), and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Services for Terry will be Friday, January 14, 2022 at 1 pm in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Visitation is scheduled from 11 am until service time on Friday. Family would like to thank the Washington Nursing Center staff for the wonderful care Terry received.
