Thelma Atkinson

Thelma Atkinson, 88, of Reelsville, Indiana, passed away on October 4, 2024.  She was born on July 25, 1936, in London, Kentucky to Charles Taylor and Parley (Hopkins) Taylor.  Thelma was a member of Burnett Bible church.  She was a stay-at-home mother the majority of her life.  She dedicated her life to her family and her church.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 48 years Larry Atkinson, whom she married on August 28, 1969; a brother, and 2 sisters.  She is survived by her 3 children Glenda Wilson (Don), Larry Atkinson (Chell), and Patrick Atkinson (Dawn); 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 5 siblings.  Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 1:00p.m. at Burnett Bible Church, 7600 E Devonald Ave, Terre Haute, IN 47805.  Pastor Harold Davis will officiate.  Burial will follow in Highland Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 11:00a.m. until service time.
