Thelma Jeanne (Louderback) Handick

Thelma “Jeanne” Handick 92 of Paris, Illinois (Elbridge Township) passed away on February 6th in Regional Hospital surrounded by family. She was born in Clay County on August 11,1925 to Donald Louderback and Nellie (Butt) Louderback, and was preceded in death by her husband Robert John Handick and step-daughter Marilyn Green. Survivors include step-children Beverly (Garry) Thompson, John (Judy) Handick, and step-grandchildren John (Jennifer) Thompson, Dr. Kristina Thompson and her fiancé Steve Scank, Laura (Denver) Hudson, Dr. Brad (Dr. Kim) Handick, Nikole Williams, and James (Cortney) Green and several great-grandchildren. She was a former President of the Terre Haute Christian Women’s Club, was a member of the Newcomers and Friends Club, and a member of Nevins Christian Church in Paris, Illinois. Jeanne and Bob raised cattle together and later became known for their Ostrich Farm. Services will be held on Monday February the 12th at Greiner Funeral Home; 2005 N 13th St in Terre Haute with visitation at 12 noon and the funeral service at 1:00 with Pastor Levellie officiating.
