Thomas S Guess Jr.

Tom S. Guess Jr., 71, of Terre Haute, the beloved owner of Northside Recycling, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, at Gibson Hospice Center, surrounded by his loving family.

Tom leaves behind his devoted wife of 52 years, Barbara Jean Guess, and their children Jeanne (Joey), Tommy, and Michael (Tya). He was a proud and dedicated grandfather to Alyssa, Kayla, Markie, and Ava Rose, each of whom held a special place in his heart. Tom cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren and extended that same deep love to his great-grandchildren, Zaedyn and Yasmin.

Preceded in death by his mother June Guess in February 2019, Also survived by his siblings Susie, Doug and Charlie (Mary Ann).

A hardworking man with a strong spirit and a generous heart, Tom built Northside Recycling into a place known for honesty, integrity, and community. Beyond his work, he found his greatest joy in his family. Whether through simple conversations, shared meals, or moments of laughter, Tom made sure his loved ones always felt supported and deeply cared for.

He will be remembered for his unwavering dedication, his sharp wit, and the love he poured into everyone around him. Those who knew Tom will carry his memory forward with the same strength and kindness he showed throughout his life.

Visitation will be held from 12pm-1pm on Tuesday December 16th 2025 at Greiner Funeral Home, Funeral Services begin at 1:00pm.
