Thomas Sturtevant Obituary

Thomas Gregory Sturtevant, 74, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away, April 29, 2020. He was born December 27, 1945 to William Sturtevant and Mayme (Cheesman) Sturtevant. Thomas worked on the railroad and an Engineer, and retired after 36 years. He was a devout Catholic, and a member of St. Joseph’s university Parish. He was also a member of VFW 972. He enjoyed his cats, playing poker, playing the lottery, and was an avid Colts fan. The family would like to than the Sisters of Providence for their kindness, prayers, and companionship they offered Thomas. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda (Auten) Sturtevant and his parents. He is survived by his sister Carole Seyfert (James); niece and nephew Julie and Rory Lester and Jeff and Jacee Seyfert; and many great and great great nieces and nephews; extra special family tom and tonya wynn. Cremation has been chosen and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
