TRACEY LEE WILLIAMS
May 23, 1966 - December 16, 2024
Tracey Lee Williams passed away December 16, 2024 due to an accidental drowning. Tracey,
firstborn to Walter (Bud) and Martha (Janie) Williams, entered this world May 23, 1966 in Covington,
TN.
Tracey was a 1984 Graduate of McDonald County High School where he was an active member
of ROTC and ROTC Drill Team. While in high school he completed Welding training at Crowder College in
Neosho, MO. He was a member of Laborers’ International Union of North America and International
Brotherhood of Boilermakers.
After building and repairing chimneys for Hamon-Custodis for several years, Tracey moved
home and went to work at Clorox in Rogers, AR, where he was a mechanic for 17 years. He then went
back to traveling the country for Hamon-Custodis, finally settling in Brazil, IN, where he was Assistant
Warehouse Manager.
He was a kind, compassionate, caring human with a great laugh. His generosity knew no
bounds. He loved, and was very skilled, at antiques restoration. He loved fishing, music, cooking,
grilling, and the outdoors; but most of all he loved spending time with family, friends, and his beloved
dogs, Sid & Buster.
Tracey’s heart was bigger than his body, and he will be terribly missed by his family and many
life-long friends.
Tracey is preceded in death by Walter Lee & Lillian Catherine (Marbry) Williams, paternal
grandparents, Eddie Parnell and Essie Mae (Butler) Martin, maternal grandparents, and his mother,
Martha Jane (Janie) (Martin) Williams.
He is survived by his parents, Walter L. & Linda Williams, VA, sister Wendy Deaton (Michael),
MO, niece Holly Deaton, MO, nephew MO State Representative Dirk Deaton (Nikki), MO, and four great-
nephews Rhett, Jack, Myles, & Bennett.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
