Vernon Leroy Campbell, 83, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away September 3, 2023. He was born on December 20, 1939, to Carl John Campbell and Anna Mae (Marion) Campbell. He served in the United States Army. Vernon was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jean Menser Campbell; his parents; brothers Hubert Campbell, John Campbell, and Charles Campbell; sister Rubby P. Tims Campbell; and son David Lee Campbell. He is survived by his daughter Lorra Campbell Hampton; sister Ruth Gilaem Campbell; 6 grandkids; and 11 great grandkids. No services are scheduled at this time.
