Vernon Dudley

Vernon Dudley, 73, of Terre Haute, IN, passed away on May 4 th , 2023.
Vernon was born in Terre Haute, IN, to Vernon and Opal (Rutledge) Dudley on August 24 th , 1949. Vernon
enjoyed playing golf, spending time with his family and traveling. Vernon was a member of Sheet Metal
Workers Local #20 of Terre Haute, IN. He spent many years working for API, Inc of St. Paul, MN. Vernon
is an SAL member of the American Legion Post 104 and was an active member of the Silent Men until his
health prevented his participation.
Vernon is survived by his wife, Marilyn; sons Scott, Troy (Carrie), Kevin; and seven grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Opal Dudley, a brother Charles Vernon, and two sisters,
Betty Jean (Jim) Poff and Verna Jordan.
Cremation services are being performed by Greiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. A private
celebration of life event is being planned for a later date.

Academy.
