Vivian Frances Niemeyer, 100, of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday August 29 in Westminster Village. Vivian was born October 26, 1923 in Mattoon, IL, to Charles Fleshner and Lela Graham Fleshner. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, a former member of The Country Club of Terre Haute and was a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling, golf, reading, bingo and taking exercise classes. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Oma Stuart, and her husband, William A. Niemeyer, who passed away September 4, 2005. She is survived by one son, James S. Niemeyer of Terre Haute, a grandson, Jeffrey S. Niemeyer (Amy), great grandchildren, Carinne (Israel) Terry,Isaac Niemeyer,Great great grandchildren, Amari and Aliyah as well as a special Nephew, Dr. Joseph Ryan (Barbara) and other nieces and nephews. Private services are planned, burial was held at Roselawn Memorial Park. The family would like to thank Vivian’s caretakers, Melissa, Bri, Mikenzi, Mandi and the staff at Westminster Village as well as Jesse and Staff at VNA Hospice.
