William Edward Arnold Sr.

William Edward Arnold Sr., 85, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away August 24, 2020.  He was born September 17, 1934, in Edgar, Illinois to William Crawford and Eunice (Luchen) Bearden. He was a faithful employee of Gartland Foundry.  He believed in working hard to play hard.  William was a devoted husband and loving father, who enjoyed vacationing with family.  Some of his favorite pastimes were golfing, singing, playing with his children, wood working and taking drives on old country roads.  William is preceded in death by his wife Faye Luzetta Arnold ;his parents; son William Edward Arnold II; siblings Mary Catherine Price, Barbara Lou Johnson, Delores Ann Hudson, and Nancy Arnold.  He is survived by his children Robert Eugene Arnold, Melissa Faye Scott, Steven Delbert Scott, Rosetta Sue Hennessy, Patricia Marie Arnold, Jane Anne Galloway, and Sue Ensey; sibling Melissa Mae Jones and brother Eugene Barnes.  William has been blessed with numerous loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Visitations will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2020. Located at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804.  Funeral will start at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery.
