William E Taylor

William E. Taylor, 81, of Terre Haute, Indiana, peacefully passed away on December 1, 2024, in the comfort of his home.  William was retired from the Pilsbury Plant on 1st Street and ran his own business Taylor Enterprises until his death.  He loved his country living, antique cars, fishing, and adored his grandchildren.  He is survived by his wife of 61 years Jackie Taylor; daughter Cindy Taylor-Hamblen; son James Taylor (Stacey); 9 grandchildren Brett Taylor (Amber), Scotty Hamblen, Joseph Hamblen, Hannah Taylor, Thomas Taylor, Tanner Hamblen, Alex Taylor, Kristen Taylor-Horton (Tanner), Day- Day Taylor Dean (Dylan); 6 great grandchildren; brothers Dan Taylor and Tim Taylor (Kim) several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his son John William Taylor; his parents George Taylor and Lucile Taylor Schmidt.  A celebration of life will be held on March 9, 2025, from Noon until 4:00p.m. at Sandcut Fire Department, 5970, E Rio Grande Ave, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47805.
