Wilma Jean Barnes

Wilma Jean Barnes, 69, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on July 20, 2025.  She was born on August 31, 1955, to William Church and Margret (Akers) Church.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.  Wilma enjoyed playing Bunco and also collecting Mickey Mouse memorabilia.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 40 years Robert Joseph Barnes, whom passed away in April of 2021; grandson Riley Barnes; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters.  Wilma is survived by her children Paul Barnes (Chrissy), Dean Barnes (Jennifer), and Joseph Barnes (Jennifer); 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and 4 sisters. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, July 25, 2025, at 1:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 4:00p.m. until 8:00p.m
