Wilma Ruth Hollis

WILMA RUTH HOLLIS, 99, of South Terre Haute, Indiana, Passed away August 28th 2025.  Wilma was born September 6th 1925, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Charles E. Jewell and Dorsey (Woodsmall) Jewell.  Wilma was a member of Youngstown United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, visiting with family and friends and the company of her dog "Lilly".  She is Survived by her Daughter Carroll Jo Smith; grandchildren Shelly Dawn Modesitt, Kalen Amber Smith, and Ryan Wade Smith;  3 great grandchildren Sierra Dawn Held, Amantha Marie Lott, Rebecca Jo Steele, Sandra Jewell Frazier (Niece) and 6 great-great grandchildren.  Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Paul Frederick Hollis;  Parents Dorsey (Woodsmall) Jewell; Charles E Jewell;  Son Curtis Ray Hollis, and brothers Marvin and Kenneth Jewell.  Cremation has been chosen.  Memorial services are scheduled for Monday, September 22, 2025, at 2:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 1:00p.m. until service time.  A Celebration of life will be at 4:30 p.m. at the Shelburn Church of God, 615 W Mill Street, Shelburn, Indiana, 47879.
