Carl Allen Marks “Buddy”, 80, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away November 24, 2017. He was born November 29, 1936 in Delaware, Ohio to Arlie William Marks and Helen Louise (Shook) Marks Troyer. Carl retired from IHC trucking in 2002. He also worked for Doxee Foods and as an over the road truck driver, part time, for RBW. He attended Forest Park Baptist Church. Buddy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He enjoyed traveling on his Goldwing motorcycle with his wife. Buddy did not know a stranger, he waved to everyone, and he thanked everyone. Buddy is survived by his wife of 52 years Carolyn Fae (Roles) Marks; son Jeffrey Mel Marks (Vickie); grandchildren Jeffrey Michael, Chloie Marie, Alicia Ranee; 3 great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; and sister Mary Lou Nebinger (Ron). He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 1:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Jim Gibson will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 11:00a.m. until service time. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wabash Valley or Forest Park Baptist Church.
